About our Barge Board Wood flooring with unique colour variation-

These very special oak floors are for those that want to add that sense of belonging the moment their wood floor is installed. Beautiful wood flooring with waxy matt finishes these driftwood floors are all finished entirely by hand and are unique. The slightly tactile surface of the planks still feels smooth, a subtle ageing of natural reactive processes and layers of built-up hand-applied wax patinas create these special wood floors. This engineered oak flooring has a reclaimed feel about it. Weathered, and slightly textured this special finish, looks like it has been affected by the weather for some time but is still smooth, a mix of blended layers of browns revealing blonde sandy tones. An alternative choice for a modern slanted scheme and sitting within an old property. These colours have not been created by stains or just a coloured oil, but by a process called oxidation. This oxidation works with the abundant tannin found within our special oak flooring to change the composition makeup of the fibres of the wood. As time passes the patina on these special oak floors will develop further like all great floors should, solid oak or an engineered oak for underfloor heating, wide plank, herringbone, chevron parquet floors or parquet de Versailles these are wood floors to cherish. Unique floors have immense beauty finished entirely in-house by highly skilled artisans using craft from the past with present-day precision engineering, assuring a wood floor built to last of incredible quality and beauty.

Our engineered blonde oak flooring is made using the best solid European and French oak lamellas and our WPB Birch plywood. We offer a guarantee on our oak flooring against delamination of the oak lamella from the ply backing. As our blonde wood flooring is engineered it is the perfect partner for underfloor heating.
